Brian Hall
Engineering and Delivery Leader
I worked with Bhashit as both a consultant to and peer of his for over 3 years. He's a one stop shop for technical SME because:
He's spent plenty of time in the application creation space so he knows what infrastructure needs to be in place to create great applications, creating dynamic infrastructure so he knows what needs to be done to maintain it. Also spent plenty of time supporting running SaaS services so knows what needs to be done to monitor, support and adhere to SLAs.
It's hard enough to find outstanding talent for any one of these focus areas. Covering all three is almost unheard of. Hire these guys! Full stop. You can thank me later.

"Bhashit is among the best software architects I have worked with in nearly two decades of building software solutions. He has an incredible intellectual drive to learn and apply new technologies as well as a dogged determination when optimizing systems. He was instrumental in building and scaling distributed systems ingesting and processing tens of thousands of events per second across the world by the application of best practices in cloud-native computing and event messaging using top technologies for container orchestration, monitoring, and stream processing. He applied his extensive experience as a full-stack developer to design systems that were reliable, scalable, and continuously deployable. Bhashit also became an expert on operations because that is what we needed, becoming our organization's technical leader in platform engineering and CI/CD to deliver a system that exceeded our high standards for service availability. I am happy to give Bhashit my best possible recommendation. You'll be fortunate to have him on your team.

I’ve known Bhashit for close to 3 years as a colleague at QOMPLX. In my opinion, Bhashit’s most appropriate job title would have been, “Principal Swiss Army Knife”. Let me explain.
Once vision is set, he moves to iterative planning. He writes up the first draft of the “how”, presents it to the team and puts it up for critique/feedback/debate. He is a stickler for putting thought to paper so that it isn’t a moving target but flexible and open to debate the viability of the solution and make modifications as necessary. He communicates well and understands the strengths of individual team members to be able to delegate and get the work done.
He is someone who is passionate about continuous deployments to production. He championed a successful pilot program with his own team where every commit would have associated automated tests and be deployed to pre-prod and production environments; an idea which was radical given where we were as a company doing quarterly deployments. This model was later adopted by the rest of the teams.
Bhashit in the time I have known him has worn many hats in our Platform Engineering, SRE and Development teams. His singular goal is always to identify gaps and bring efficiency that he was successful at with every team he worked in. His additional strength lies in diving into unplanned work. He was critical to our production support initiatives at every level. Starting with helping teams identify metrics and create Grafana dashboards to troubleshooting critical development and platform issues that needed immediate fixes. The extra that he brought to the table was not to stop at fixing the issue but to put in place a post-mortem process that documents the RCA so that other team members can learn from it. He also hosted multiple self-initiated knowledge sharing sessions on diverse topics like - code quality, automated testing, metrics and dashboarding, API best practices, K8s for developers, troubleshooting Apache Flink,Kafka, Elasticsearch, documenting design etc.
All in all, Bhashit belongs to a rare species that is equally skilled as an individual contributor and a selfless visionary leader. If given a choice, I’d definitely want him on every team I work on in the future.

These are not easy software projects this team is doing. They do things with ease that most others scratch their heads for weeks trying to figure out. This is clearly my go-to person. A++++++ Clearly the best programmers I have worked with. Complex project on custom component and this guy delivered everything as I wanted ahead of schedule. Highly recommended.
